Belfast band Silent Running are delighted to announce a return to live performance with a gig in Voodoo Belfast on April 29th, 2022.

This will be the band’s first gig since they sold out the same venue twice in 2019. A live album ‘Live in Voodoo, Belfast‘ was released in 2020.

“It’s taken a bit longer than we hoped but we’re all excited at the prospect of getting back on stage”, explained lead singer Peter Gamble. “The last two gigs were an absolute joy and it’s been frustrating for everyone at having to wait so long, but fingers crossed it’s full steam ahead for April next year”.

“The long lay-off has given us the chance to finally get around to recording our fourth studio album which was the dream when we first got back together. Personally, I think it’s the best thing we’ve ever recorded and I can’t wait until people hear the new songs and we get the chance to play them live”, added Gamble.

The new album is scheduled for release in Spring 2022.

As well as the new songs, the band will be playing “old favourites” from their previous studio albums, ‘Shades of Liberty’, ‘Walk on Fire’ and ‘Deep’, all of which have been released on all streaming platforms for the first time by Warner Music.
