Silent Running at Belsonic: A Night to Remember
Thursday 19th June was one for the books as Silent Running took to the stage at Belsonic, joining an incredible bill alongside the legendary Madness and the ever-brilliant Ocean Colour Scene. The sun was shining, the atmosphere electric, and the crowd in Ormeau Park couldn’t have been more up for it.
From the moment we walked out, the rousing reception from thousands of music lovers set the tone for what became one of the most memorable nights we’ve had. It was a real honour to share the stage with such iconic bands – and even more special to do it in front of such a fantastic Belfast crowd.
A huge shout-out is due to the Belsonic team, whose professionalism and attention to detail ensured the whole event ran like clockwork. From artist liaisons to stage crew, every single person played a role in making the day as smooth and enjoyable as it was. We also want to pay special thanks to our own behind-the-scenes heroes: our sound engineer Paul O’Shaughnessy, who had everything dialled in to perfection, and the Event Tech NI road crew, who worked tirelessly to get us show-ready.
If you were there, you’ll know just how much we loved every second. And if you missed it – don’t worry, the summer’s not over yet.
Our next show is at Custom House Square on Sunday 17th August, where we’re honoured to be special guests of Texas. This one’s already sold out.
We’ll then be headlining Voodoo Belfast on Friday 24th October, and tickets are on sale now:
